Italian Sausage Sandwiches

Who can resist a nice sausage with peppers and onions on a bun slathered in mustard?? Not this girl. We had these for dinner the other night, seriously you can have dinner on the table in 15 minutes or so.
  • 1 package Tofurky Italian Sausages
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 Vidalia onion, cut into strips
  • Spicy brown mustard
  • hot dog bun

Coat a non-stick skillet with a little oil, heat til warm. Add sliced peppers and onions and saute til they begin to soften.

Make a hole in the middle of the veggies and add the sausages to the skillet.

Roll the sausages around til they begin to brown all over and stir the veggies. When sasuages are brown and veggies are limp they're ready.

Coat a bun with some spicy mustard.

Add a sausage, top with veggies - then slather on more mustard. UMMMMMMMM
Enjoy! Serve with your fav sides: chips, dip, coleslaw, pickles, you name it.
